I participated in the 2025 inaugural SSTCTF hosted by other Computing students in my school
You can find the Github with the challenge files, sources and solutions here

It was quite interesting to see the challenges that my cohort mates had set up and I had lots of fun working with my friends to find the flags
I was in the team named: “fajnigscape71” (My friends chose the name and I’m not sure what it means)

We got 6th in the competitive category
My favorite challenge the OSINT “Lost SSTudent” challenge as the answer was a location in our school and our team couldn’t figure out exactly where it was even after having spent 4 years in the school
It was a CTF from 9am to 9pm and I found that it was very hard to keep solving challenges at a consistent rate (I was top in my team for capturing flags)
Zipocalypse was annoying as we had to run a script to open the many zipped files, which took very long to run on Mac. Luckily, my teammate uses a Linux distro and he could run it way faster than us (not too sure why)
However, I managed to persevere, trying my best and even managing to solve one final flag just before the competition ended
Although we did not win in the end, I enjoyed the CTF and learned more about the execution of an SQL injection
